these relaxed-fit pleated chinos are made in japan from a distinctive ripstop fabric combining organic cotton in the warp with recycled nylon in the weft. the two materials are dyed separately before a layer of black pigment is applied, giving the fabric its unique texture. over time, regular wear and washing allow the fabric to develop a distinctive patina, gaining depth and character with age. the trousers feature a high rise (deep crotch) and a relaxed leg that tapers slightly towards the hem. the hem is left unfinished, allowing the length to be tailored to your individual preference.
